This naturally occurring stone features small pieces of pyrite encased in slate which has been cut by a skilled lapidary in Idar Oberstein. This stone is commonly known as 'fools' gold' due to its yellow/gold hue. Set in our rhodium plated sterling silver case, our stones of the world will perfectly decorate your shirt with its organic beauty. The colour and natural formation of our gemstones differs from one another due to natural variation, making each piece truly one of a kind. The face of each cufflink measures 16.3mm length x 16.3mm height x 7mm width. The face of each shirt stud measures 10mm length x 10mm height x 3mm width

Stone: Pyrite, or iron pyrite, is also known as fool's gold. This mineral's metallic lustre and pale brass-yellow hue give it a superficial resemblance to gold and is usually found in Spain.
